Introduction to Plant-Based Cooking (Friday March 24 12pm)
Plant-based eating and cooking doesn't need to be boring (or a salad every meal). If you've gone vegan and find yourself overwhelmed, you're not alone. The very best place to begin is at the beginning! Guest cook, Anthony Seed, will open up a new world of plant-based cooking; Creating delicious new flavors and inspiring easy-to-create dishes.
Anthony has been vegan for over three years and holds a plant-based nutrition certificate from Cornell. This is a hands-on class so come prepared to chop, season and taste your dishes. Together with your fellow chefs you will create the following dishes:
- Black Bean Tostadas with Avocado Crema
- Mushroom Shawarma with Chickpea Salad
- Sweet Potato Brownies
