Intro to Red Wines (Tuesday June 13th)
Red wine is an acquired taste. When you’re not sure what to look for, seeking out the *right* bottle of red can seem especially intimidating — especially with wine buffs tossing around words like viscosity (liquid consistency) and tannins (bitterness).
We leave the fancy lingo at the door and take you tasting journey that is simple, fun and all about red wine. There are tons of different red grape varietals out there, but for simplicity’s sake, just know that red wine is often classified by “body type” — meaning, how heavy the wine feels in your mouth.
This introductory wine class will be enjoyed with a cheese board. Each wine will be paired with an individual cheese. You will receive an approx 1oz sample of six wines and sample six different types of cheese.
